Public Observing Schedule

SAS Public Star Parties are viewing sessions for the general public.  They are typically held on Fridays close to the New Moon from April through October.  These sessions are free and open to the general public.

The SAS hosts several sessions for organizations throughout the year. If you wish to schedule an event, please contact us with an estimate of observing dates (it is often necessary (and best) to schedule both an official observing date and a “rain date” in case of poor observing weather).
