Monthly Pixel Peeper Award

Image of NGC2403 winner of the May Pixel Peeper Award captured and processed by John Rush.

Here’s What John had to say about the image:

NGC2403 in Camelopardalis.  To me it looks like the little brother in apparent size to the Triangulum Galaxy. However, it’s over twice the distance away at 8 million light years as opposed to 2.7 million light years. It is very rich in H-alpha regions and was discovered by William Herschel in 1788.
